
January 2014. It was two o'clock in the morning. Federico Abad was sitting in his bed and chatting with a friend when the idea hit him. I wanted to see a movie, but couldn't. What could I do? I just wanted to solve a problem, he says. The 29-year old designer wears a Disney t-shirt and has the digits of the irrational number Pi tattooed on his forearm stretches his legs out in a dilapidated, black-painted bedroom in Buenos Aires' San Cristobal district.
