Coronavirus: US airlines agree $25bn rescue deal - with strings attached

Major US passenger airlines have agreed in principle to a $25bn (£20bn) rescue package that will keep workers in their jobs until October as the industry battles the coronavirus crisis. Washington's treasury department said the six biggest carriers - American Airlines, United, Delta, Southwest, JetBlue and Alaska Airlines - had accepted the support.
