Amazon Announces Plan to Open 5th Distribution Center in San Marcos, Texas

The 855,000 square-foot building will initially hire 350 full-time positions picking, packing, and shipping small customer items such as books, electronics and toys. Amazon expects to continue hiring up to 650 more employees to work at the center.
